Hello and welcome to our October Newsletter.

This month we will feature stories from April, May and June – Spring 2025.

April was a busy month – we shared 4 blogs containing all sorts of information.

The first blog was about one of the most common conditions we treat – back pain.

Back pain affects millions of adults and the cause isn’t always clear. But fear not! Help is at hand!

Our expert team is here to unravel the mystery, identify the root cause, and craft a personalised treatment plan to get you back on your feet.

Our second April blog was about the annual trip to India by a team of podiatrists. In this blog Ali gives us a resume of the 2025 trip.

As many of you know we support the Village of Hope charity in India. Ali normally makes an annual trip with colleagues to support the podiatry clinic and offer treatment. This is her report from this years trip.

Not just spines, but we do love spines. At the clinic we see people with all kinds of problems.  Some are simple and quick to fix, others require more time and consideration.

Every clinic helps people with back pain.  But we have really leaned into spinal problems.  When you are passionate about helping people and then you find there are some conditions you just can’t help, it is incredibly frustrating, for us as professionals but especially for the patient.

We launched out podcasting activity in April featuring interviews with some of our newest therapists. These will give you an insight to our team, our therapies and how we can help you with your wellbeing. Interviews will be with both our therapists and our patients plus associates we work with.

In our first blog in May we talked about the benefits of Theale Wellbeing Centre – treating your mind, body and soul.

One of the greatest benefits of Theale Wellbeing Centre is the holistic approach we are able to offer. From head to toes and for your mental wellbeing we have a therapy for everyone. In the last few weeks Isabel has treated babies as young as 3 weeks plus their parents.

We recently launched our new podcasts and in this one a regular patient talks about his experience of the clinic and the benefits he has felt.

We have been focusing on IDD Therapy because we know how effective it can be. This blog tells you a little more about this therapy lead by our senior podiatrist – Michael Palfrey.

We don’t tend to see images like this in Biology classes at school.  If you have a spinal problem, unfortunately you may have seen an MRI of your spine.

This one is interesting because it is the MRI of the person who supplied us with our Accu-SPINA, that’s the machine we use for IDD Therapy.

In June we included another blog on the benefits of IDD explained in a video by Michael.

We have been fortunate enough to have some very interesting guests on our podcasts. We found Steve Shreeve so interesting that we featured him twice. In this issue Steve talks about the benefits of strength training at all ages.
