Theale Wellbeing Centre have recently invested in SWIFT® cutting edge technology for the treatment of Warts and Verrucae on feet and hands.

ABOUT SWIFT®

Swift® is a new technology, developed in the UK, which has been licensed for the general treatment of warts & verrucae by Podiatrists. Swift® uses microwave energy which is delivered through a special probe applied to the skin to treat the affected tissue.

In general 3 treatments will be needed, (these will normally be around a month apart depending on the individuals response). Our Podiatrist will be able to discuss this with you. Although patients may encounter some minor discomfort – it has been likened to an injection or scratch lasting 2-3 seconds.

Almost anyone’s warts & verrucae can have the treatment with a few exceptions. Our Podiatrist will carry out an assessment prior to treatment and be able to advise you on this.
