Supporting the NHS

As many of us are aware the pressure on the NHS due to the Covid-19 pandemic has been immense. Waiting lists have been affected across all aspects of the services that the NHS offer including podiatry.

Theale Wellbeing Centre are delighted to be supporting the NHS by offering a day clinic specifically for MSK referrals from the Berkshire Healthcare NHS podiatry Service. This new clinic will start next week and alongside many other podiatry teams throughout the UK will be helping to reduce the NHS waiting lists.

“We are really pleased to be working with the NHS podiatry team, helping them to reduce the waiting list and help patients get the treatment they need” said Senior Podiatrist Lloyd Clark-Morris.

This is not the first time members of the Theale Wellbeing Centre team have supported the NHS. At various times during the last 18months three of our team have worked on the test and trace program.
