World Mental Health Day – LETS BE POSITIVE!

The 10th October is World Mental Health Day. Here are some tips about true positive thinking.

You can find many posts on social media about “POSITIVE THINKING” & “POSITIVITY” however, did you know that many of them are actually written in a negative way?

The brain only understands positives and will filter out a negative word!

Allow me to explain…
You may see something like this written in a post;
“You are not a failure!”
Now while it has positive intent, your brain will in fact take out the negative (“not”) and so your mind hears “you are a failure”. What would be better is if we say,
“You are a success!”

Learn to change your internal dialog to positives only, even if you feel it’s untrue, keep saying it to yourself!

I believe that we are all successful! 

Do this for yourself and notice what changes you begin to experience and help to improve your mental health.
