About Theale Wellbeing

A Bit About Us

Theale Wellbeing Centre exists to help the people in our local community to achieve and maintain the best possible health and wellbeing in a caring, professional and welcoming environment. Here is a video testimonial from one of our clients.

We offer Osteopathy, Podiatry, Chiropody, Massage, Physiotherapy, Shockwave Therapy, SWIFT verruca treatment and a range of other complimentary health therapies.

Theale Wellbeing Centre was opened in May 2010 having outgrown Pangbourne Osteopathic Clinic’s premises. We expanded the types of therapies available in order to offer more to our clients, all under one roof.

Although each therapist works on their own, they are also part of a big team and if appropriate with your permission, can work with other therapists to provide a truly holistic approach.

Theale Wellbeing Centre is the trading name of Allwood & Palfrey Limited

We Care

Theale Wellbeing Centre has a team of experienced, highly-qualified and skilled therapists and friendly receptionists all ready to help you.

Each therapist is registered and is fully insured.

At Theale Wellbeing Centre, we have a commitment to provide the best in therapeutic treatments combined with a highly personalised and caring approach for individuals and families. We endeavour to provide all our patients with the highest level of friendly and professional care.

Combined Approach

At Theale Wellbeing Centre we work as a multi-disciplinary team. With your permission and where appropriate, we can work with other therapists to provide a truly holistic approach.

We would explain why we think a combined approach is appropriate and discuss how we would then proceed, coordinating your treatment with the therapists involved.

Sometimes a combined approach can have more of a therapeutic impact on long-term conditions.

I graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1994 having decided at the age of 14 that I wanted to be an osteopath. I have built up considerable experience through working in a wide variety of practices in a number of different locations. I started Pangbourne Osteopathic Clinic shortly after I qualified and gradually built a busy and well-known practice. Having moved to Theale in 2010, the practice has continued to grow and is a very exciting place to work. I enjoy treating a wide range of people and I have a particular interest in patients who have acute back or neck pain and sports injuries. I also treat a lot of chronic tendon problems using Shockwave Therapy. Recently I have become the consulting osteopath for Read Dance and Theatre College and I am rapidly increasing my knowledge of dance related injuries.

Away from the the practice I enjoy spending time with my family, playing cricket, watching Reading Football Club, ringing church bells and listening to loud music!
