In our practice, we embrace three foundational principles:

Play to Your Edge: we ease into each pose, finding a point where your body naturally resists, allowing time for your body to relax and open.

Rest in Stillness:  Once settled, we remain in the pose with awareness of breath and mindfulness of thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

Sink In:  As you sink in, the deep connective tissue: fascia, ligaments, tendons, and even bones, receive the sustained, gentle traction they need. This helps to lengthen fascia and ligaments in the back, pelvis, and hips, improve joint mobility and range of motion, break down scar tissue and trigger the relaxation response in the nervous system.

With the support of bolsters, blocks, and other props, each session provides a safe and nurturing environment to practice, and achieve your goals.
